KARACHI: The hullabaloo on controversy-queen Veena Malik’s photograph is on the go as her father has disavowed her act misdeed, demanding action against the ‘bold’ daughter, FTNews reports.
Pakistani viewers from all walks of life have also condemned it and voiced anger over the celebrity’s nude shoot for an Indian magazine.
Disavowing the acts of her daughter, Malik Muhammad Aslam, condemned the model and actor, calling upon Pakistani authorities to take action against Veena Malik for bringing bad name to the country.
Reacting to the controversy, federal interior minister said that the government would verify the nudity matter.
Rehman Malik vowed strict action would be taken against her if she had done a nude shoot. However, the minister said he had not seen the pictures. He was also of the view that Veena should be given a chance to explain herself over the issue.
On the other hand Veena Malik defends her front cover photos for men's magazine FHM, where she appeared with ISI tattooed on her arm, but denied the photo shoot involved any nudity.
"I agreed to a photo shoot and having an ISI tattoo in a humorous way but I did not have any nude photos. My pictures have been morphed," said Malik, who shot to fame in Indian TV show "Big Boss 4".
Meanwhile, Kabeer Sharma's, editor of FHM's Indian edition sticks on his claim that the pictures are original ones for which the model was paid. FTNews
